Free Dating Advice For COVID-19
Inevitable Online Dating During Social Distancing
1. We are in a monumental moment in time where your perspective about your existence should be shrouded with a feeling that life is precious. Especially if you are blessed enough to be healthy. Whether you believe it or not you are not invulnerable. Nor are you guaranteed the privilege of finding your mate and passing your genes on as a species. This is a time to practice ultimate gratitude for life and all the amazing things you have. I have a lot of clients that do not practice gratitude. At the most basic level, it is time to be grateful for life. You are not sick and on your deathbed with COVID-19 fighting for your life.
2. Now more than any other time in your life-time you have a unique opportunity to date differently. Many singles have impulses around dating that tend to backfire on them. The most obvious example is for you to jump into physical interaction too fast. It goes without saying that having sex too early can be a recipe for failure. Another less obvious example would be learning how to manage what comes out of your mouth. This is a great opportunity to exercise healthy restraint over the information you share or do not share on virtual dates as you are getting to know someone new.
3. For those of you that could never wrap your mind around online dating, well here’s your chance to dive in and do it correctly. Yes, that is correct, opening up an online dating account is the most efficient way for you to lobby yourself as a high-quality single man or woman. Herein lies the conundrum. To be successful in your endeavors, you must be very strategic and awake about how you position yourself in this environment at every turn. Contact me now if you need assistance.
4. Play chess and not checkers during your time with the online dating apps. What does this mean? It means drill down and be very thoughtful about absolutely every move you make on the online dating app. Make sure your photos are airtight (this is a chess move in itself). If you put up the wrong photo someone will pass on you in a NY minute. Get some outside input from someone like myself to give you independent advice about your photos. Trust me, your BFF or 2K Bro will not give you objective input. Remember, you see yourself very differently from the way others see you. That is a fact.
